Terms of Service
Last updated: October 27, 2026
1. About these terms
BeatLark is a website operated by an individual based in China under the BeatLark brand. It helps you create songs and instrumental music from a description or your own lyrics. These terms govern your use of the website. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how information is handled. Accepting these terms does not give consent to optional tracking.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to legally enter into these terms. The service is not directed to children under 13, and you must meet the minimum age required by the laws where you live. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account.
3. Your content
You must own or have permission to submit the lyrics, descriptions, names, and other material you provide. You retain your rights in that material. You grant BeatLark a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, process, transmit, and display it as needed to provide the service, deliver your songs, maintain security, and resolve support issues. Song inputs are sent to the generation providers described in our Privacy Policy. Their own data-handling terms also apply.
4. Generated content
AI output may be similar to content created for other users, may contain errors, and may not be suitable for every purpose. Rights in generated songs and recordings depend on applicable law and the relevant provider terms. The current music service uses MiniMax Music through Replicate. Review the MiniMax terms, the licence linked from the model page, and the Replicate terms before commercial use. Paying for credits does not by itself grant exclusive copyright or guarantee that a recording is cleared for every use. You are responsible for the rights to your lyrics and for checking your intended use.
5. Credits, subscriptions, and refunds
The form shows the credit cost before you generate a song. Editing the form is free. Credits are reserved when a generation task is accepted, before the music provider processes it. A confirmed failed generation returns the credits charged for that task. This is a credit return to your account, not a refund of money to your payment method. An unresolved or still-processing task is not treated as a confirmed failure.
Subscription credits are used before one-time or promotional credits. One-time purchased credits have no scheduled expiry. A new subscription credit allocation replaces the remaining subscription balance rather than adding to it; unused subscription credits do not roll over. Remaining subscription credits are cleared when the subscription expires.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the billing interval shown at checkout unless cancelled. You can turn off renewal from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, so you keep access through that period. Cancelling renewal does not by itself request a cash refund or restore credits already used. Payments are processed by Stripe.
If none of the credits included in a purchase have been used, you may request a refund within 7 calendar days of payment. Subscription renewal payments are reviewed individually. Email [email protected] from your account email address with the order or payment reference. We will check the payment and usage records before processing the request. Approved refunds return to the original payment method; bank processing times vary. Refunded purchases no longer provide the corresponding credits or subscription entitlement.
Credits used by a successful generation are not covered by the voluntary unused-purchase policy. Statutory cancellation and refund rights, and remedies for billing errors or defective services, remain available where applicable. Nothing in these terms reduces rights that cannot legally be waived.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to break the law, infringe rights, create sexual content involving minors, facilitate abuse or fraud, impersonate others, bypass security or usage limits, upload malware, send abusive automated traffic, or generate content that unlawfully targets or harms another person. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.
7. Availability and changes
Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued, including preview features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that generated content will always be preserved. We may update these terms by posting a revised version and changing the date above.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, BeatLark disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these terms and is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or removes rights that consumers cannot waive.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are intended to apply internationally. Mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live continue to apply. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought before a court with jurisdiction over the service operator or over you, as required by applicable law. Questions can be sent to Contact support.
